This product was everything I hoped it would be. I have it next to my bed as additional storage space for towels, workout clothes, sports jerseys, and other stuff that doesn't have a place in my normal chest of drawers. I've seen a review that has said it's not very sturdy, but I believe that person did not tighten all the screws. It's definitely a sturdy piece of furniture because I've sat on it for long periods of time. SOLID!

This bench is perfect for our entryway. It's nice looking and sturdy. I looked and looked for a bench that wasn't too long or wide and yet had some storage and happily found this one. It wasn't difficult to put together and I've had many compliments on it. I would definitely recommend this purchase. I don't often respond to on-line review requests, but wanted others to know how much I like this bench!

I purchased the bench for the yard. It was very easy to set up. All the tools I needed where already packed with the bench. It took less than 15 minutes to put it together. The bench is solid, comfortable and looks great. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

This bench went together quickly and easily, 30 minutes or less. The wood is very nice looking and is a rich looking color. While you don't have to finish it, I did get teak oil and finished it immediately. It probably could have used a very light sanding with a very fine grade of sand paper in some areas as well but I did not stop to do that but will next time I apply teak oil. Applying the teak oil made it look all the better. I would definitely purchase other products from this seller based on the quality of this bench and the buying experience.

My biggest question when buying a bench or any piece of exercise equipment is, "Will it be big enough for me?" At 6-3 255, this can be a problem. Seems exercise companies these days think only small people work out!

I bought this along with the 552 dumbbells and stand. I found that this bench, just like the stand was much easier to assemble than some reviews say. The only part I had trouble with was putting the seat on, which can be explained by my body size. I'm sure there is a better way to do it, but I just picked it up and sat it on a table and put the seat on that way, instead of laying in the floor, cursing the little guy that decided to make this seat require me being under it to install the seat.

Trust me, that is part of the fun!

All of the instructions were clear, and it really wasn't that much that needed to be assembled. The parts as packaged, the seat, the back rest pad, the front stabilizer, the rear stabilizer and the rest was assembled. Well except the leg hold downs, which only requires sliding a pin and bar through a hole and putting the pads on each side.

You bolt the main part to the rear stabilizer, then the front stabilizer, bolt the back pad and seat on and that is it. For a few measurements, and why I am more than impressed with this bench.

The seat at its widest point is 15 inches wide, at the front (under your thighs in incline) and 12 inches wide at its most narrow point. The back rest is also 12 inches wide. The back rest is nearly 3 inches thick and the seat is a little over 3 inches thick.

The material used in the frame is very sturdy. It says 300 pound user with 300 pounds of weights, can be supported and I believe it. The construction and design itself is excellent.

What I did was pull the stand in front of the leg end of the bench. It is narrow enough to fit that way, with the stand and dumbbells right in front of you when you sit down.

The incline is also very easy to use. You just slide the bar (that you can see in the picture) it has wheels on the bar and each setting has a gate/wall that the wheels stop at. That is it. No more pulling pins out, turning hex wrenches, or anything like that.

Mainly what I am saying is that I am an old school lifter that is used to narrow benches that require work to adjust during the workouts, this bench takes all of that extra work out of it and it looks nice as well.

Looks aren't a big deal, but trying to convince my wife that I really need this bench in the garage, near her artwork, made the looks matter!

I love to purchase items that have multi-functions. This is a nice looking bench which you can store lots of things inside of it (such as sport items & toys). I was lucky enough to have two of these shipped free to my home in Hawaii. The shipping alone would have cost me a fortune. I have also purchased RustoLeum spray can to paint these a different color. Very nice, easy to assemble, durable benches.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how much stuff this bench holds. We have a ton of outside toys that I was constantly tripping over. I thought this would take care of some clutter, but it took care of all of it. Best of all it looks very nice on the front porch. I've had a couple of visitors that want to take it with them! And, it is comfy to sit on.

The product was easy to assemble. It came with a plastic-sealed kit with each part numbered, making it easy to identify each part. Finish assembling within 30 minutes, and easier to assemble with two people but not necessary.

The seat came with bits of black spots on red part; I didn't really care but just wanted to give people a heads up. The back of the bench wasn't able to support my head when adjusted to a 90 degree angle (I'm 5'8"). The 4-roll leg lockdown feature is pretty awesome except I find it to be a bit loose, as in the padded rolls leave a little space, showing the bar and causing the leg rolls to move side to side. Aside from these minor flaws, I love this bench. It's very comfortable and has 6 angle adjustments, allowing me to do various exercises. It was relative cheap, compared to the other products on the market. On a final note, the seat/back cushion is very comfortable but its one of those cushions with staples in the back, so not sure how long the chair will last.

Finally, the product came relatively fast, within 4 days after ordering it. The shipping was also free, which was awesome.

In my opinion for the price you'll pay, this product is incredible, straight out of the box I could tell it was made with quality material and the only negative I would have to say about it is that they don't provide a tiny tool set to put it together with. Love this product i would recommend it to anyone who needs one.

Directions are not abundant, just put the nut section in the empty hole with threads facing the bolt hole, insert bolt and turn with provided tool. Put them together a little loose, then sit the chair on a flat service and tightened everything up. I oiled the pieces first with teak oil, which Strathwood Gibranta All-Weather Hardwood Arm Chair, Set of 2 I know will help preserve. My porch is narrow and won't hold big furniture. This set fits perfect and looks lovely. Everyone compliments. Can't beat the price.

While this is bench will be used outside, the workmanship is nice enough to be used inside my home! The assembly was fast and easy. I am considering purchasing a second one. I have chosen to oil the bench to keep it the original teak color and to keep the wood grain smooth. You may wish to consider this as an additional, at least yearly, task if you do not want the bench to age to its natural color of dark brown-gray. Without oiling the wood grain dries out and the surface becomes slightly rough. The seat cushion is thin (~2"). To combat sun damage & deterioration to the fabric we store the cushions and place them on the outdoor furniture only when in use. I am not using the back cushions. They detract from the design.

I was very happy with how easy it was to put together and it looks gorgeous on the deck! We have had so many compliments on the set and people asking where they can purchase it themselves. I would recommend these Strathwood Gibranta All-Weather Hardwood 2-Seater Bench to anyone!

Bought this bench for seating and decoration outside the front of our home. The price was great & it was easy to assemble and it seems very sturdy. We have had it now for a few months and it has been great. The powder coating will help it hold up over the rainy seasons here in the Bay Area.

I put together this bench on my own. I am a 60 year old woman with moderate assembly skills. It took about half an hour or so. It would have been quicker but when I opened the box all the bolts and nuts went flying. There was nothing to indicate they had ever been corralled, i.e. no forensic remains of a little box or torn plastic bag. Of course some were missing because there were holes in the box. They are somewhere between here and China. There were two finishing caps taped to the box in a sealed plastic bag. They must be considered extras. Fortunately all the bolts came. There are eight bolts of two sizes, four each. The instructions don't indicate where to use the longer and shorter ones. It was obvious, though, where to use them once I started fitting them through the holes. The nuts were very tight on the end of the bolts. I hand threaded them and couldn't get them to budge with the wrench that came with the kit. I used a socket wrench finally to hold them in place while I used the allen wrench that came with the bench to tighten them. It would have been much quicker as a two person job, but I still managed to do it by myself. (Don M. was out of town.)

I plan to call and get the right size nuts and end caps to replace what I was able to temporarily come up with out of my stash. A notice did come with the box with an 800 number to call if parts are missing. I don't anticipate any problems.

The bench seems to be painted all over bronze and then hand brushed with flat black paint, allowing some of the bronze color to shine through. I like the finish as well as the arts and craft style. The color looks different as the light changes. (See my photos.) I will be placing it on the deck of a little house my husband and I use as an office. I think it was worth the money despite the aggravation of hunting up extra parts and finding the right tools for the job. Frankly, I didn't expect it to come with tools. The little aluminum wrench is in the metal recycling bin right now.

This bench is great. It's solid as a rock, very stable, and it looks pretty sharp in my small home gym. The bench top has a thick, dense pad, which is ideal for the weight/strength/toning exercises that I like to do. The bench is also super easy to assemble - it took less than 15 minutes. One note: the legs are not padded on the bottom, so if you plan on using it on a wood floor, you'll want to get a plastic floor protector to keep it from scratching.

If you're a power-lifter, you'll obviously want to invest in a much more expensive bench, but if you're doing an average at-home workout, this bench will more than do the trick. At this price, you're not going to find a sturdier, better-made product.

Three qualities that I wanted in a weight bench: studiness, ample width, and adequate padding. The Adidas bench has all three. It was simple to assemble, light enough to move into position in my home gym, comfortable enough to complete the exercise reps and secure enough with its footing design to not wobble. Excellent product; excellent investment.

This flat bench is clean and simple, with a max weight much higher than that of similar competitors' products. In the manual that came inside the box, it specifically states a max weight of 600 lb (contrary to an incorrect review here that claims it is 300 lbs through some so-called "research" online, and actually never even bought the product!).

The relevant section on page 7 of the included manual reads, word for word:

WEIGHT CAPACITY AND DIMENSION

1. Maximum User weight: 300 lbs.

2. Maximum weight capacity: 600 lbs.

3. Assembled Dimension: 44" x 19" x 17"

Again that's word for word; yes, they capitalized "User" and "Dimension" but had "weight capacity" in lower-case.

this bench only took 20 minutes to assemble and it is as strong as an ox.. this is the Acura of workout benches.. Well built, sleek, versatile, and dependable. This bench can withstand a tremendous amount of weight. I would recommend this product to any one seeking another workout bench.

Love this bench, sturdy (I weigh 200#) good feel when I lay on it. Easy to move around and set up. One of the reviews said something about instructions hard to follow???? You have to read these with a grain of salt and more than one. There is only like 12 bolts and your up and working out. Love the bench, wish it was USA made but cannot buy anything here anymore. We are cheap addicts.

I bought this for my covered porch. Sit down and take my boots off and put them inside the bench before I go into the house. We keep shoes, gloves, and yard tools inside out of the way. Affordably priced and very simple to put together. Sturdier than I thought it would be. Better than a wooden bench that would warp in all types of weather. Great product for the money. This item made a lovely addition to our patio. It has lots of storage space and was easy to assemble. My neighbors already asked where to purchase their own!

This is a great bench. It stores my kid's outdoor toys and other outdoor items, it is pretty roomy. It is attractive and goes well with our house. It also doubles in providing outdoor seating. It is a wonderful product!

I bought two of these, so I could put them together and use as a picnic table if I wanted. Turned out great !! This is the most awesome, easy kit to assemble. Great instructions. I am gonna buy more for my family. I highly recommend this !

This item was shipped within one week and all the contents and instructions were provided. It was easy to assemble and will save a lot of room on my front porch, no matter whether it's a bench or table. We used the wood from the picnic table I've had for over 20 years, so there was no added expense. After assembling the item, we used Thompson's water stain on the wood to enhance and preserve. It's really great!!

The instructions were clear and easy to read. The bench can be made up to an 8 foot length, but we opted for a more sturdy 6 feet. We used pressure treated wood since our bench didn't need to be fancy looking. The six foot length is room enough for three to sit with relative room and comfort.

In previous reviews, I read that some folks had difficulty with the bench back rest locking when it is placed in the table top mode. Ours worked just fine, no problems, and it felt solid.

It didn't take long to build and it was a great father son project to work on. I would caution that you should carefully select your boards, as even minor curves and warps will be amplified when you assemble the bench and line up your slats. Not a show stopper if a board is a bit more curved than you thought, but a perfectionist might want that consistent spacing. Our Flip Top BenchTable will serve us well out in the wilderness. I would recommend this product. In fact, I have purchased a firewood rack kit from 2x4 Basics.

I ordered this bench on Friday night, September 14 to avoid the sales tax that Amazon started charging in California the next day...It arrived the following Friday, the 21st....I put it together myself and had no real problems with it...One of the screws was hard to get in properly but after taking it out and putting it back in, it screwed right in...The bench is comfy and soft...A previous review said they were disappointed in the leatherette because it was stated it was leather...It plainly says "Leatherette"...All you have to do is read and pay attention! I have this bench at the foot of my bed and it's great to sit on to put on shoes and socks...My bed is too high to sit on comfortably...I love this bench...It looks classy!

I really like the storage bench and think it is well worth the money and is quite attractive. I did have a problem installing one of the legs, because the bolts did not line up with the manufacture's holes. By using a rasp in the holes I was able to shave enough wood away to enlarge the holes and insert the bolts. Two other legs were a little difficult, but when the job was done the effort was worth it.

This bench is well worth the money. It arrived in perfect condition thanks to the reinforced edges on the carton. There was a little construction involved but the instructions were simple and easy to follow. An Allen key was included along with the other bits and pieces needed for attaching the legs. This is a very nice bench -- especially for the money! It came very quickly, was easy to assemble, even alone, and seems very sturdy. I plan to put it on my front porch and sit outside as often as possible this spring and summer. I would definitely recommend ordering one!

Really a great bench - seats 3 people comfortably - easy to put together (with 2 people) - price seemed reasonable - would definitely recommend it. I am very happy with this bench. It looks great, easy to put together, a good value. Another reviewer mentioned that the "holes" were not lined up properly when they assembled it. I initially ran into the same problem. However, my problem was resolved by simply trying the other arm. In other words, there are two sides to the bench. They look the same, but I believe there is a left and a right side.

Received the bench very promptly. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. The bench was a gift for someone else. Put two coats of marine polyurethane on it as it was to set outside on porch. Very beautiful and a great addition to their porch. Would recommend it highly.

I was definitely skeptical about what we'd get. But once we received it, I was really impressed with the value for the money. This bench is very nice. Try finding a 3 seater bench anywhere else (online or in stores) for $130 with free shipping...impossible!

It's elegant and easy to assemble. Shipping was fast, and by special courier since it's so big and heavy (tip: just leave a note on the door authorizing them to leave the box and you won't have to be there for delivery). Unlike another reviewer who complained about not receiving extra scews, we did receive extra screws.

Glowing remarks said, the quality is definitely uneven. We ordered 2, which arrived together but in seperate boxes. One was in perfect condition, the other was so warped that I have to return it. From reading other reviews, it sounds like the quality level is uneven. As long as the return process doesn't turn out to be a total headache (yet to be known), I still highly recommend this product if you're looking for a decent quality 3 seater bench at a low price. I actually bought this Prepac Monterey White Cubbie Bench from another vendor that has a local store that I could return the bench to if I didn't like it in order to avoid return shipping costs. Totally unnecessary! I could have saved a few bucks by going through Amazon. It's a sturdy bench--it holds my husband. It's also very stylish. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble the bench. One minor issue is that the decorative edging in front makes the 14X14X14 inch collapsible storage cubes not fit. A body pillow across the top makes for a nice comfortable cushion. Overall this bench is a great buy!

This is a solid quality bench. I put it together myself alone -well my two year kept taking parts and pieces and running off- the directions were easy to understand, the diagrams were good, the whole bench assembly process way easier than anything from ikea for sure. The base could be wider for more stability but at this pricepoint I am completely satisfied. The padding is adequate, the color is brown not the red in the product picture and as for the 'chemical smell', I am extremely sensitive to odors ie scented candles, incense, cleaners, plastics but I was not bothered by any smell from the bench. Very happy.
